Foxes Mufindi Highlands Lodge, Tanzania

The cabins are built from responsibly grown timber and the rocks are all local.  Meats, dairy products and organically grown vegetables are all produced on the working farm.

We have 10 cosy wooden chalets with either twin or double beds. With homely decoration and an en-suite bathroom, guests will immediately feel relaxed. The Chalet completes the accommodation with 2 huge bedrooms each with bathroom with shared upstairs lounge and balcony. All of our chalets open out to stunning views across the valley, and are generously spaced out across the hilltop.

The Lodge has a honeymoon suite complete with log fire, and a similar room for celebrating anniversaries.

Our main lodge has an inviting sitting room, with sofas and a small library surrounding a big open fire. Beyond this is the dining room, which has 180-degree views onto the valley below. The whole lodge has a quaint and homely atmosphere that quickly seduces.

How to get there:

Qatar Airways offer daily flights from London to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar, via Doha.
Safari Air Link operate daily flights to the closest airstrip from Dar, Zanzibar, Mikumi, Selous or Ruaha and the lodge will pick guests up from there.
