Porini Lion Camp, Masai Mara, Kenya

Porini Lion Camp is an award-winning, eco-friendly and authentic Safari Camp, is located within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy.

The conservancy is a pristine and exclusive 33000-acre wilderness set aside for wildlife conservation and low-impact tourism. The camp is built in a unique and stunning setting on the banks of the seasonal Ntiakatiak River. This large area borders the Masai Mara National Reserve and is home to an abundance of animals including the Mara’s renowned Big Cats. There is unsurpassed game-viewing within the conservancy due to its unspoiled natural state and the Porini Lion Camp – with just ten tents – ensures guests have a genuine “away from it all” experience deep in the African bush.

The high-quality and spacious ten guest tents are tastefully furnished and each has solar-powered lighting, ensuite facilities (with hot shower and flush toilet) and a private veranda.

Porini Lion Camp accommodation is fully inclusive of all meals, drinks (beer, wine, sodas, gin & tonics and mineral water) as well as all activities (including day and night game drives, escorted walks and sundowners). Game drives (shared) are in specially-designed off-road (4×4) safari vehicles with expert / qualified safari guides to ensure the best possible game-viewing. Guests particularly enjoy the drives within the Conservancy where they experience the wilderness without being surrounded by other tourist vehicles.
